The Great Western Railway had a
significant presence throughout Wales with many secondary and branch
lines often serving very sparsely populated areas, as well as routes
to holiday resorts, with famous trains like the 'Cambrian Coast
Express'. This full-colour book includes many photographs
showing off the superb scenery and unique stations throughout rural
Wales. It has a goodly variety of steam power and trains.
Basically it covers all of Wales outside the heavily industrialised
South Wales valleys.
A number of
outstanding photographers have contributed to the book and many
pictures are published for the first time, including some rarely
seen locations and stations in this beautiful part of the UK.
Softback 210
x 200 mm, 72 pages, 85 full colour photographs.
